Infant/Toddler Early Childhood Educator (ECE & ITE)
Ocean Rain is a licensed daycare centre that offers a variety of childcare programs including infant/toddler daycare, age of 3-5 daycare, morning preschool, out-of-school care, and many performing art classes/workshops. We are hiring qualified Early Childhood Educators for Infant/Toddlers to join our growing team.
POSITION:
Permanent Full-time Infant/Toddler ECE(40 hours/week)
Shift will be between 7:30-5:30 Monday to Friday.
Salary: $21.00 – $24/hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid BC ECE Infant Toddler Certificate
- Valid first aid and CPR certificate
- Criminal record check clearance
- A minimum of 2 Professional References
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reports to the Director of Operation
- Be responsible for direct supervision and safety of children enrolled in the program.
- Follow behavior guidance and policies established by the centre
- Be consistent with accepted practice in the field.
- Plans, carries out, and assesses developmentally appropriate activities.
- Ensures that the classroom is maintained in a neat, organized, and safe fashion.
- Prepares the teacher’s report for newsletters and general meetings.
- Communicates with parents and co-workers effectively
REQUIRED LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:
- BC Early Childhood Educator and Infant Toddler Certificate
- Criminal Record Check
- First Aid

Bilingual Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
Ocean Rain International Daycare is now looking for amazing ECEs to our brand new bilingual daycare program where we create an immersion early childhood environment for kids to acquire Chinese and English!
Right now we are looking to fill the following position:
