Bilingual Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

Ocean Rain International Daycare is now looking for amazing ECEs to our brand new bilingual daycare program where we create an immersion early childhood environment for kids to acquire Chinese and English!

Right now we are looking to fill the following position:

Permanent Full-time ECE (40 hours/week)

Shift will be between 7:30-5:30 Monday to Friday.

Salary: $17.50 /hour

Infant/Toddler Early Childhood Educator

Ocean Rain International Daycare is now looking for amazing Infant/Toddler Educators to the team at our brand-new centre! Ocean Rain is a centre which offers a variety of childcare programs including infant/toddler daycare, age of 3-5 daycare, morning preschool, out-of-school care and many performing art classes/workshops.


Permanent Full-time Infant/Toddler ECE(40 hours/week)


  • Valid BC ECE Infant Toddler Certificate
  • Valid first aid and CPR certificate
  • Criminal record check clearance
  • A minimum of 2 Professional References


  • Reports to the Director of Operation
  • Be responsible for direct supervision and safety of children enrolled in the program.
  • Follow behavior guidance and policies established by the centre
  • Be consistent with accepted practice in the field.
  • Plans, carries out, and assesses developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Ensures that the classroom is maintained in a neat, organized, and safe fashion.
  • Prepares the teacher’s report for newsletters and general meetings.
  • Communicates with parents and co-workers effectively

Required licenses or certifications:

  • Early Childhood Education & Infant Toddler
  • Criminal Record Check
  • First Aid

Zumba Instructor

Qualification and responsibilities:

  • Current Zumba certification required.
  • 1+ years group exercise instruction preferred
  • Prepare class content in advance
  • Provide quality instruction, be passionate, and motivating students to enjoy the class
  • Report to the director any incident happens during the class. Follow the standard procedure to resolve problems.
  • Inform the director in advance for any changes and adjustments needed in your existing teaching schedule.
  • Demonstrates great work ethics and work collaboratively with co-workers.

Job Type: Part-Time, willing to work on evenings and weekends

Wages: Wage varies depending on experiences
